Roles

Charlie was responsible for script writing, directing and organisation.

Beam was the Co-director and helped Charlie when facing a problem, Beam was also very creative when choosing the costumes and makeup as she carefully followed the codes and conventions.

Caleb was the sound designer for our film and followed the codes and conventions with smooth jazz music,  one of Caleb's strengths was shot types which really helped us with low angle shots.

Kevin Yu did the analysis for each of our scenes and made sure everything was up to standard and followed the key conventions of noir.

Filming and Editing

Since we all wanted to do filming and editing the group came to a conclusion that we should split it so Charlie and Kevin filmed all the Detective scenes and Caleb and Beam filmed all the Femme Fatale scenes since we wanted the two characters to be separated until the end. We then talked as a group about editing and Caleb and Charlie ended up having similar ideas for the detective scenes and Kevin worked with Beam on the editing for the femme fatale, Beam was responsible for uploading the footage onto Final cut pro.
